I've been gaming a lot recently - started the OG Kingdom Hearts because I have a PS to actually play the Disney/Final Fantasy mashup of awesomeness. Somehow I am actually seeing a lot for the first time in game rather than from screenshots and what not online. I finished the main storyline of Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4, and I have started knocking out the DLC step by step (currently playing the second installation of "The City That Never Sleeps").  And I recently started playing Anthem - rocking the Ranger javelin and getting completely sucked into the world. Recently, I picked up one of my BIG works in progress and started stitching again.

So like always - I saw some deals in the last days of the year and I could not contain myself. Not only did I purchase some more video games for GREAT discounted prices, I had to purchase a new battery for my car. As a result, frugal is my new middle name. No big purchases. No deals. It is about some self-control, which is soooo hard when you work retail. But I'm doing good, and I have a single splurge purchase coming in February - the remastered Shadow of the Colossus. Finally started playing Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - I've been meaning to start this adventure for a while. Now that the film is coming out in March - it seemed like the perfect time. I really cannot stop playing it!  Loving every moment! I started the game Friday and I am already 63% through the game! It really keeps me hooked. I'm planning on going back to find all of the relics, documents, and tombs.  Debating if I want to start Rise of the Tomb Raider immediately after, but I will probably play something else.
